My name is Julianne, and I've been painting miniatures since 2007. I took time off 2011-2013 because I attended graduate school, which consumed all my time; however, during my internship in 2012 I managed to get a few done :)
I like to say that I paint slower than water rolling uphill. It's rare that I can finish a mini in less than 30 hours. Granted, a lot of my time is spent on determining colour schemes, looking for inspiration, and getting the right mix of paint, as well as pushing myself to learn a new technique.
Xanthea: This is the name of one of the goddesses in my homebrew D&D world. I just happened to like it a lot, and I'm generally terrible at naming.
